The Shield Arms S15 Gen 3 Magazine, 15rd, Black Nitride, 3-Pack w Steel Mag Catch, For Glock 43X/48 is a patent-pending, flush-fitting 15 round magazine for the Glock® 43X and Glock® 48. The S15 is a steel magazine, and is the same length as the OEM Glock® 10 round magazine, but holds an additional 5 rounds.

Gen 3 Improvements

What changed with the gen 3 magazine? We made the following improvements:

  • New US-based manufacturer
  • Modular tooling, allowing us to make the S15 and S10 magazines simultaneously
  • Raised ribs on the back of the magazine allows us to fully match the OEM magazine position in the mag well, which should eliminate any tolerance stacking that results from Glock frame variations
  • New steel, new coating, new heat treat process – our new steel is slightly thicker, tougher, and now comes with a new standard black nitrocarburized QPQ finish for a high degree of corrosion resistance

Great product. Holds 5 more rounds but is the same length. Couldn’t believe it wasn’t longer.

1,250 rds and about a dozen FTF. Gave these mags to a buddy and switched back to Glock 10 rd mags. 250 rds through factory mags with no issues. Overall impression - great for training, wouldn’t bet my life on them. Wish I didn’t have to swap mag catch to use them for training.
