The RM66 features Rossi's double action trigger and a crisp single action trigger pull. The RM66s 6" barrel pairs with a red ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. This allows you to zero the RM66 for your ammo of choice, whether its 158 grain .357 Magnum or 130 grain .38 Special.The RM66 has 6 shots of .357 Magnum on tap in its steel cylinder. The full underlug barrel adds additional weight which helps manage magnum recoil. Further aiding recoil reduction is the wrap-around rubber grip, cushioning your hand during firing.

Decent trigger pull and balance. Grips are very small. Had trouble finding replacement grips that would work. I ended up finding a wood grip for a Taurus frame but had to customize it to get it to fit better. New grip makes a big difference. Rossi is made by Taurus that has Lifetime warranty, but Rossi is only 1 year.

I always liked nice wood on a Revolver, Grips added are similar to the Herritt's grips from many years ago. Both Rossi's are very accurate. The 6 inch barrel is mild to shoot with full power loads. A little rough inside but a little polish and wear in and it will be fine. The Blue Rossi is very smooth right out of the box.

I am not a revolver guy and this is the first I ever purchased. The process at Buds works well other than the delay for using an E-check, which they explain right from the beginning. I read about the Rossi RM66 in an NRA magazine and thought I'd give one a try. I like the gun. It is a pleasure to shoot with 38 spl and that is what I plan to shoot. I am a one handed shooter and, at least with my hands, thumbing the hammer for single action makes the gun move around in the grip of my hand. This would not be a problem for two-handed shooters or when you have time to reestablish the grip between shots. It may not be an issue for people with the perfect size hand for the factory grips. The gun has functioned perfectly so far. I am working on a set of custom grips to hopefully improve my one-handed performance. I have not tried shooting double action, which is certain to have a negative affect on accuracy as a result of the much heavier trigger pool.

I traded one of these several years ago and regretted having done so right away. When they came back on the market I quickly bought one. These revolvers are very smooth and accurate. I think they perform best using 38 special+P or medium 357 loads. You can shoot hot 357 loads in them but the cartridges are difficult to extract, and the revolver is very light so you feel the recoil. Using lighter loads the accuracy is outstanding. I can get 11/2 inch groups at 25 yards regularly. Nice shooting high quality revolver! I love it.

Just got this shot box shells though it , I shoots great very Accurate, I love this gun. I will recommend this gun , great price . The action is smooth.

Ordered the Rossi rm66 a few weeks ago. The delivery time was super fast, the gun came in great shape. The revolver itself shoots great, feels good to hold. This is definitely a great quality gun and at an affordable price
