Maybe I misunderstood, but I didn't think Bond Arms was offering an Alluminum Framed Stinger in .38 caliber or .22Lr. Only Alluminum Framed are to be offered in .380 & 9mm. ???

Michael, this has a stainless steel frame and barrels. Bonds arms did start making the stinger aluminum frame version in 38 special also according to their website but doesn't look like it's made it to dealers yet. So will likely be a couple months before they'll start popping up for sale. Hope this helps. If interested here's more specs............. The Stinger RS has the same quality as Bond Arms' regular Double Barrel Handguns but, like the original Stinger, has a slimmer profile and weighs only 16 oz. The Stinger RS is made of stainless steel which allows us to cut the cost over its' aluminum cousin. Currently the RS is chambered in 9mm, .380ACP, and .38 Special and it includes a set of thin nylon and a set of comfortable rubber grips for concealment and range shooting, respectively.

this is my second stinger. I was waiting for the aluminum frame 38 but it was not in and I couldn’t wait any longer. The 4 oz difference is very noticeable. The little gun was pretty accurate at 60’ in the wind. I was hitting a beach ball size stump pretty regularly. Without the wind I am sure my average would have been better. There isn’t much felt recoil surprisingly. The 9 mm stinger I have in the aluminum frame lives up to the stinger name. I am super happy with both and will more than likely get the aluminum framed stinger in 38
