SCCY CPX-1 Gen3 RD 9mm Pistol - 3.1" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds

Now that this gun actually works and works very well I am happy with it but I had to go through quite a process to get there. The first day I shot it the first mag went off without a hitch so I thought it was going to be ok but after that every 3rd 4th or 5th cartridge wouldn't fire and a lot of the ones that did fire and cycle the action would be followed by a failure to feed. I had cleaned the gun the second I had arrived home with it so I knew it was lubed properly so I polished the feed ramp to try and help with the feed problems and had to wait for more ammo to come before I could tell if it was just the ammo that wouldn't fire or if it was a problem with the firing pin or something. When the ammo came I tried it again but with 3 different brands of ammo. Again I had tons of misfires. I reached out to SCCY firearms and they sent me a prepaid shipping label and set me up with an RMA. The turn around was about a week and they put in all new hammer springs and firing pin and springs for that. I took it out again and tried it with the same ammo as before and it did the exact same thing as before. So I called SCCY again and told them about it again and the woman who had been the same person I talked to the first time and she was very nice and apologetic and she set me up with another RMA and shipping label but she said she had escalated it to quality control and they would fix it. This time the turn around was about 2 weeks but when I called to find out how it was going I found out that when quality control gets it it takes a little longer because they actually spend a bunch of time with the gun at the range shooting it and checking everything so I was actually pretty impressed that they were taking it very seriously. Long story short I now have a 9mm that eats any round I put in it. So even though it didn't work the first time I received it back SCCY firearms has excellent customer service and when you call you go straight to the service dept with no waiting on the phone and the people I spoke to were very professional and knowledgeable.
