This model of the Girsan MC1911 Commander version features a checkered grip, ambidextrous safety, and 3.5 to 4 lbs trigger. It also features Novak style rear sight, extended beaver tail, under barrel accessory rail, steel machines frame and slide, and deep slide serrations. It has a 9+1 capacity, and a 4.4" barrel.

I wasn’t sure about the rail on a 1911, but it still holds true to 1911 silhouette. The pistol is heavier than my other 1911s. So I’m not gonna be carrying it. Just another to add to my collection. Break down is easy, you can do it with just a finger. Fit and finish are very good overall. So yes I am very happy with this pistol.
