I don’t believe there is a concealed carry option for under $300. Taurus has really stepped up their game the past few years. Very happy with this purchase.

It is a good weapon perfect for concealed carry. I have used it several times in the range without problems. It feels good in the hand although with the 10-round magazine the pinky is left out but I'm going to buy the pinky extension to solve that. That said, it's a very good gun and I'm happy with it.

This was my first firearm purchase from Buds (though I have many other purchases through them), and WOW! Ordered on a Sunday, firearm in hand by Tuesday, after FFL Transfer. This is maybe one of the most impressive online purchasing events I've experienced. I have yet to live fire the gun (but I will soon and I will update the review after), but the Taurus GX4 (especially for someone used to HKs and SIGs) is beautifully done. The ergonomics, especially with the interchangeable backstraps, are fantastic. The fit and finish are aesthetically pleasing, and even though its only dry fire, the trigger is bananas! There is hardly any takeup and its general smooth (and by the feel I think will smooth out even more over time), and then you hit a wall. And when you hit a wall, I mean a REAL wall. Not just a precursor to a mushy trigger with tons of creep... I mean you hit a wall -- dead stop. And the break is the absolute best break Ive felt in any striker fired pistol - bar none (remember, I was carrying a VP9 for while). The trigger is on par with the Canik Mete if not better. I hope the recoil is as manageable as I think it will be. If so, Taurus has a homerun on its hands. Forget being a stellar gun "for the price." This is just a damn fine pistol, by any account. If this is the quality Taurus is going to be putting out -- every gun manufacturer just got put on notice.
