I honestly thought having a 3.1" barrel this would have been really snappy and heavy recoil. It however is a very good shooter, it will tear the x out of your targets. It's very compact making it easy to carry and conceal. I do find i need to use my middle finger for my booger flicker with the flush 10 round magazine, but it didn't affect my accuracy. Highly recommended.

I've been a fan of the S&W Shield since the first gen 9mm, and the Plus has greater capacity and a better trigger. This is going to be my new EDC once I finish breaking it in. The grip being slightly wider than the original fits perfectly in my hand, where the original was just a little narrow. Thanks to Buds for having a great price.

I love the size and weight of this gun. With smaller guns, you have to deal with a little bit of recoil. But, I didn't find it overbearing. Overall, a great purchase from a trusted brand name. I think this is a keeper.
