The FNX series features an ergonomic polymer frame with a low-bore axis for less felt recoil and improved control. The grip panels are checkered and ribbed for comfortable, non-snag carry. Interchangeable backstraps quickly adapt the FNX to your hand size, and the profiled stainless steel slide has cocking serrations front and rear. Ambidextrous operating controls (decocking/safety lever, slide stop, and magazine release) make the FNX perfect for competition or personal defense. The FNX Tactical features a 5.3" cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with .578x28 tpi and a thread protector. The FNX Tactical also has high-profile combat night sights and includes two mounting bases to accept multiple styles of optional red-dot electronic sights. This Tactical 45 ACP model has a flat dark earth and slide. It comes with two 15-round mags and a Viper red dot.

Ive had the gun for a few months now and put probably ~500 rds through it.. so far.. what an awesome gun! I slapped a surefire x300u on it and it's the perfect bedside gun in my opinion. Took it to the range and got my red dot sighted in, it was like a cheat code... I felt like I could just point and shoot and hit exactly where I'm aiming every time. One thing I don't like about the vortex is you have to remove it to change batteries. I will probably end up swapping it for a holosun but I will find something else to put the viper on. I think you get a lot of gun for the money with the FNX. It's really feature packed, DA/SA, safety, decocker, fully ambidextrous, 15 rds of .45! What more could you ask for?

Awesome! I spent so much time reviewing this pistol before buying and I’m glad that I did because I am 100000% satisfied with my purchase! The firearm itself is great. However, the optic quit working while I was making adjustments. I know that Buds states to examine well before taking possession, but I doubt many people adjust an optic before the transfer. I also noted that the additional optic mounting plates were not included in the package. While, I assume none of this is the fault of Bud's, the customer service has been very disappointing and the representatives have been rather rude. I have purchased firearms exclusively from Buds for over 10 years now because of good selection, fast shipping, etc. I guess it is time to find a local business to support. Hopefully the manufacturer will take care of the issues.
