Beretta Tomcat Covert Flat Dark Earth 32 ACP Pistol - FDE/Tan, 2.9" Barrel, 7+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips

This is a great little pocket pistol. The open slide design makes it fairly reliable. I fired about 150 to 200 rounds through it without any misfeeds. It is reasonably accurate at 21 feet for a pocket pistol. The tip up barrel allows you to chamber a round without racking, but I’ve tried mag changes during shooting, and it is reasonably easy to rack. I think it’s more concealable in a coat pocket than in a pair of jeans, the thickness makes it not as practical for a pair of jeans. But if you have deep pockets on some khakis, it would be quite concealable.

Well..., it looks sexy. New, unfired, out of the box, with the barrel flipped up, the barrel has side to side lateral movement. Maybe an 1/8". My new Bobcat (22 cal) has zero play. The dealer had a new stainless Bobcat on the shelf. Also, no lateral barrel play. Granted comparing 22 cal to 32 cal, but I feel logically, that shouldn't be a determinate for poor fit-up. A repair ticket was created through Berreta. They sent a mailing label and it was sent off. The 2-day FEDEX took a week to arrive from Florida to Tennessee. The email receipt stated repairs would take six weeks (?). Does Baretta have that many faulty products to repair to take 6 WEEKS?? I'm an old guy. Back in the day, I remember if one owned a Berreta you paid a "good penny" for it because it had flawless quality and lasted a lifetime. I bought a 12 GA Super Eagle shotgun in the 90's. I had to send it back because of ejection issues right out of the box. After following the gunsmith's break-in suggestion of running two boxes of high brass through it and sill had the problem, the smith said "Man, I've never had an issue with a Beretta." I think all the Beretta old timers who were in fact craftsman have all retired or been replaced by machines. I feel the same for Taurus. Won't own another Taurus! Ranting complete. Hope you all have a better lasting experience.

It is a beautiful little Beretta. It’s compact, pocketable for sure. It works every time you pull the trigger. I had hoped for a pistol with lighter recoil. My 71 year old hands don’t handle recoil too well anymore. This hurts my hands when I shoot it. I have a Glock 42, Sig P238 and an M&P 380 EZ that are all much more comfortable to shoot than the 3032, by a lot. If recoil sensitivity is not an issue, go for it. If you’re looking for a lighter recoil gun, this 3032 is not it.

I really like this pistol! It is comfortable to use and at 21 feet it is spot on accurate! No misfires as of yet. Highly recommend!

very nice little pistol great back up or good for a lady's peruse. the front sight could use some brightening up so it would be easier to find. The flip up barrel is great for quick loading and its a beretta you cant go wrong. I've shot it at about 20ft and its very accurate. I allways wanted a 32cab and now I have it in my beretta collection.

So this is a keeper. Buy it while you can. I get the feeling these won't be around much longer. Hard to find in stores, and it's just a cool conversation piece if you don't want to fire it. But if you do, the recoil is slight. Good looking firearm, interesting to boot.
