Featuring all the timeless style of an American original and sharing the proud heritage of the legendary Desert Eagle, the 10mm Auto 1911 from Magnum Research comes fully equipped with the top-of-the-line custom features at basic model price that blows away the competition. The frame is precision cast and machined from high quality steel and the slide is machined from solid billets of steel then finished in a matte black or matte stainless. The Desert Eagle 1911 comes loaded with features, some of these features include high-ride beaver-tail grip safety, extended magazine release, aluminum trigger with an overtravel stop, stainless steel full-length guide rod, extended thumb safety, enlarged ejection port, beveled magazine well and G10 (black/grey) grips held in place by stainless steel hex screws. It is a series 70 configuration.

I love 1911's and this Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911 G 10mm is great. No FTF. Shoots smooth. Glad I purchased this from Buds.

For a sub $1000 1911 it is excellent. Well manufactured and a smooth functioning gun. The grips have a very course feel. They get abrasive after a little firing. Easily rectified though. The sights are basic combat. They are adequate but could be better. Otherwise the gun is one of my favorite 1911's

Outstanding firearm! Custom features without the custom price. Very accurate and so far zero malfunctions. The trigger is the best I've ever pulled on a 1911. Very high quality handgun! I can't say enough good about my purchase of this gun!

Thank you BudsGunShop.com. I have purchased most of my Firearms from Buds. This pistol was purchased after researching the history of the manufacturer and looking at the features on the Magnum Research website. The picture shows the Slide with "Desert Eagle" in big letters. The gun I received does not have that. The other curious thing is the model I received has no barrel bushing. But it is a G10. Had to learn how to take it apart because of the full length guide rod, no problem. Its cleaned and lubricated, ready to shoot asap. I also changeout the G10 grips for G10 Rosewood. I will be keeping this one close.
