Paul, this has a Striker Block Safety - The internal Striker Block Safety is designed to prevent the firearm from firing unless the trigger is depressed. The HELLCAT firearm has a loaded chamber indicator . The indicator allows you to observe whether a cartridge is in the chamber. It does not have a magazine disconnect safety --- it will fire a round in the chamber with the magazine removed. Have a great day!

Jared, this pistol has a 3" Hammer forged steel barrel that is Melonite treated with a 1:10 Twist Rate. HELLCAT has a narrow profile; 1" width - Micro-Compact handgun measures; 4" height, 6" length, 1" width - Weighs 18.3 ounces

The barrel is 3 inches, and the overall length is 6 inches. When someone wrote the description they must of got barrel length and overall length mixed up. Hope this helps.
