• Q: Can this weapon shoot a rifled slug?

  Ben, yes sir, it sure can. This has a 20" fixed cylinder bore barrel with a
  3" chamber. So it will safely fire 2-3/4" and 3" Shells. It is a smooth bore so rifled/foster slugs will work great in it. Wouldn't recommend using sabot slugs Wich are meant for rifled barrels. Hope this helps.

  Robert, you can purchase this gun in KY as long as you are at least 18 years of age. 21 is the minimum age for handguns. Have a great day!

• Q: The listing shows its a 12 GA. The model #31080 per Mossbergs listing also says its a 12GA but the product info on here says its a 20 GA. Which is it?

• Q: The pictured gun looks like a 5+1 capacity. I'm assuming this model number has the magazine tube that extends all the way out to accommodate 7+1?

  Kristian, you must be at least 21 years of age to purchase this in Texas since it does not meet the requirements of a long gun. A shotgun with a stock and pistol grip would be 18 years old. “Certain commercially produced firearms do not fall within the definition of shotgun under the GCA even though they utilize a shotgun shell for ammunition. For example, firearms that come equipped with a pistol grip in place of the buttstock are not shotguns as defined by the GCA.”
