• Q: Is the mag release completely ambidextrous? Is it on both sides or do I have to switch them out? Thanks in advance.

  Patrick, the magazine is ambidextrous but must be reversed to the other side if necessary. The Slide Stop Release is on both sides so no worries there. Cheers and stay safe!

• Q: Description says “thumb safety”. I checked the CZ website and none have a thumb safety. Is this correct?

  There is no thumb safety on this model Evan. But DO NOT BUY THIS GUN. I just purchased a CZP10-C last Thursday for about this same price. And the one I bought comes optics ready, tritium night sights, and 3 magazines instead of the 2 that come with this one.

  Jacob, Yes the 53 models (3rd & 4th digit) not the 52 models have all the rolling upgrades. This model should be good to go.

• Q: I’ve seen quite a few videos on YouTube of this pistol and all of the newer models (91531) had a “skateboard” grip texture and I’m hoping it’s just them that applied some grip tape or something? Also is this pistol made in Kansas or made and shipped from abroad?

  Niiyo, this pistol is made in Kansas. The youtube grips were applied. You can also ask Buds Customer Service to verify Grip style with their Inventory Dept. at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am - 7pm Sun (7 days a week).

• Q: This pistol is striker fired correct? Also is this the model with the reversible mag release or is it ambidextrous?

  It is striker fired, Buds' has quite an odd and inconsistent way of denoting pistol firing mechanisms. This model 91531 is the new swappable mag release button design. The old and discontinued ambidextrous style was 91520.

  Imran, no Sir. The price difference is more a matter of number of each in stock as Buds prices are tied to stock level. Lower stock firearms will be higher priced than similar cost and family of firearms that have higher stock numbers and vice versa.
