This is my first AR-15 and I love it! Shot 100 rounds(American eagle) with it at the range with 0 issues. Easy to take down and clean, mlok and picatinny rails for mounting optics, handguards, etc. oh and very accurate out of the box!!

Asked an FBI friend of mind who is on their SWAT team and a firearms instructor for recommendations on an AR brand. Rock River was one of the most affordable of the recommendations. Have to say not disappointed. Great quality and really well built. First time out put around 250 Rounds thorough with no issues. Used a crimson trace sight and was stupid accurate right out of the box. If you want a great entry into a quality AR, this is a great choice. Very satisfied.

I am overall just a little disappointed with this rifle. All the online reviewers showed that it comes with a hard case. Mine did not. It came in a box wrapped in a plastic bag. It was heavily covered in a preservative oil that took a little while to remove. The finish looks pretty good, although the M-Lok rail looks rather odd and cut off in person rather than in the pictures (seriously, add like two inches to the rail). It is kind of hard to get a good purchase on the rail with it being so short. Iron sight accuracy at longer ranges would probably be pretty questionable on a rail as short as this, if you are into that sort of thing. The trigger breaks clean and feels like all the other Rock River rifles I have shot. The barrel is Chromoly, and although it is listed as a light weight barrel, it is much thicker than the pencil barrel on my Colt AR15A2. The main thing that irked me is that the buffer tube is a COMMERICAL SPEC TUBE. This REALLY irritated me for some reason. So, be aware of that if you intend to slap all the Magpul goodies on it. Accuracy seems OK coming in at about 2 ish MOA over five shots with the cheapest Tulammo and crap scope I had laying around that wasn't already mounted to something. Probably would be much better with some Gucci Ammo and a nicer scope, but acceptable nonetheless. The RRAGE emblem on the right side of the receiver was not as big and gawdy as shown in photos either. Overall, it has a few quirks that time and money could fix, but it is a decent rifle as is.
