  Jonathon, this is a compact version, not a youth model, per se, but does have a shorter length of pull of 13", compared to 13 3/4" on the regular size, and only slightly lighter in weight, 6 lbs 8 oz to 6 lb 12 oz.

  John - with the XPR rifle you will be receiving a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 with BDC reticle scope mounted with full VIP warranty from Vortex plus Weaver style rings and bases. Vortex features a "no questions asked' warranty on their optics, and have some of the best customer service in the business. I presently own two Vortex Crossfire II scopes, and they are truly some of the best scopes I ever used. Clear glass, great reticle, and a mechanically sound adjustment system with 'return to zero' turrets.
