Is this firearm legal in Illinois under the current gun laws ? I've received mixed answers locally .

Hi Christopher and welcome. No Sir, the Threaded Barrel (1/2x28) is restricted in the State of IL. shootcenter.com/product/hammerli-forge-h1-22lr-5-12rd-blk/ ----------- This single restriction makes it illegal in IL.
