  • Yes. That is a Trigger safety. Many polymer guns have that as a safety feature. To fire the gun, that blade needs to be depressed along with the trigger.

  • Hi Daniel, yes that is a trigger safety. Trigger Safety. The trigger safety’s purpose is to prevent the trigger mechanism from being actuated in the event the firearm was accidentally dropped. Once you are ready to fire, the trigger safety will move automatically in the fire position as you press the trigger.
