What is the difference between this TRP 1911 and the Loaded 1911? Both are ca compliant, stainless and appear to have all the same up grades. But there is almost $500 difference in price???

Hi Shannon, the number is stock has nothing to do with the price difference. The Loaded model has a MSRP of $1055, and the TRP has a MSRP of $1732, so naturally one will be significantly higher than the other.
The Loaded has 3 dot sights, TRP has Three-dot tritium sights.
The TRP has Aggressive 20 line-per-inch checkering on both the mainspring housing and frontstrap and forms a hand-filling continuum alongside the rugged G10 grips for a flawless shooting foundation, also comes with Cocobolo grips. The TRP has a blended magwell.
I'm sure there are things I missed. You can compare them yourself at these 2 links -
