  • I am reposting this question, because nobody had a clue. There are now, 45 grain subsonic 22 mag ammo on the market (Winchester). This makes the 22 mag a real possibility for a 100 yard coyote gun. Max efficient barrel for a 22 mag is only 18-19 inches anyway and when scoped sight radius is meaningless. When you add a 7-8 inch suppressor the gun is now 50 inches long. Why not just n 18 inch barrel like on a 300 BLK or any other suppressed barrel? Makes no sense. Any idea why?

  • Apparently on a tube fed lever with a standard length barrel, you could not remove the tube for reloading with the suppressor on(had to be removed). The tube length in relation to the barrel length w/ muzzle/suppressor could not be removed to reload the rifle. (Longer barrel/shorter tube solves this). Henry USA tries to half way explain this quandary here Phil : henryusa.com/rifles/frontier-model-threaded-barrel-24/
