Kimber 2020 Shot Show Custom LW (Nightstar) .45ACP 8+1
Greater than a 9mm? About the same as a 9mm? Less than a 9 mm?

Hi Anthony and welcome. Recoil is about 15% more but is more of a push back and up than the 9mm's snap back. Cheers and stay safe! If you can shoot one, you can shoot the other no issue. Cheers and stay safe!

it has quite a bit more recoil than a 9mm in the same gun

Nothing unmanageable. Slightly more recoil but I think, from shooting other .45 ACP myself, you'll be fine.
