Jim, this is not optics ready. You could have the slide milled for a red dot or they make dovetail red dot mounts. It's a little plate that replaces your rear sight. This has Novak style sights, so any Novak style dovetail red dot mount would work. Sorry but hope this helps.

This Pistol is not optics ready out of the box, you'd need to have it milled to accommodate a reddot
