F model is a safety/decocker model and the G is a decock only

Matthew, Beretta Type G is the "Decocker Only" Model and the Type F is the " Manual Safety with Decocker" model. Cheers and stay safe! Type F: The safety lever is both a safe on/off, and a decocker. Type G: The lever is simply a decocker. The difference is literally one ball bearing and one spring that together hold the lever in a downward. position.
