  • Yes, this is Maryland compliant/legal. If a AR-15 has a heavy Barrel in Maryland then it\'s good to go. Trust me I get what your saying I grew up in Maryland and glad I moved to PA. But good to go on this one. Hope this helps.

  • Yes this is a heavy barrel MD compliant model. And its a great rifle, Ruger 556 is the 1st AR I bought and it is bomb proof been shooting it for 4 years and never had a failure of any kind.
