  • I'm new to the 22LR plinker world, and got this gun for Christmas last year. Love the look/feel of the gun...bought the recommended Aguila ammo and it seems to never get through a magazine (22 capacity) without at least 1-3 times of not feeding properly. At first I thought I may be "limp-wristing" but I made conscious effort not to do that. Last time out to the range, I had no fun as it got stuck on every mag (have three, one factory and two pro-mag) every 3 shots? Any advice?

  • I'd try high to hyper velocity ammo. Most semi automatics recommend high velocity ammo because it's required to push the bolt all the way back in order to eject the spent casing and chamber another. I'd grab 5-10 different brands of higher velocity ammunition and just start trying them until you find a couple brands it likes. That or it might just need broke in if it's new, hopefully after couple hundred rounds it'll start feeding reliably. Lastly I'd Clean and lube it, Don't use grease since that can cause issues. Hope this helps.

  • Clean and lube the firearm, then id ditch the promags ive had nothing but trouble with promag.
Some guns require a break in of 100 to 500rds as well, if you've got that through the pistol already id contact GSG and see if they stand behind they're products

  • Keith, try some CCI Mini Mags (high velocity) and if the jams continue send the firearm in for servicing. Kind of a shame on this nice looking firearm. Cheers and stay safe!
