Yes you can use 38 special in any 357 mag you will need to clean the chamber after shooting to prevent a carbon ring from building up and making it hard to chamber the longer .357 ammo

Yes, 357 magnum guns can fire 38 special for lower recoil for easy target practice, or 357 for harder hitting defense rounds. Hope this helps.
