Ruger USA site shows MSRP for this model $299
If true, why is Bud's cash price $349...$50 over retail?
Thanks in advance for clarification

Howard, current sustained high demand, low supply and a little price hiking to boot are the reason. You can check prices here : https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/736676037919
Because they can. Many firearms are now listed well over MSRP. It's a suggested price, but if they know they can make more than that they'll certainly try.

MSRP for firearms are set to reflect what the gun SHOULD sell for in normal times, the MSRP doesn't reflect the current market and unprecedented high demand and low supply. Its not just the retailers marking up prices to us the customers manufacturers are marking up prices to the retailers to restock as well. If you can wait to purchase this pistol you should wait as when things settle down, and supply catches up prices WILL go back down again
