  • Gentlemen, I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge on this matter. This is the first rifle for which I've attempted to mount a scope. The rifle appears to come with scope mount bases, but I'm confused because the manual says that it is only "drilled and tapped for standard scope bases (Weaver #46)". From what I've been able to look up on Weaver bases, the rifle looks like it already has them. In that case, I should need only the rings, correct? The scope manual says I need 1" rings.

  • The description says " The receiver is drilled and tapped, and scope bases and sling swivel studs are included." So you are correct. You need scope rings with weaver mounts.

  • Ryan, you will need the scope rings after the included base is installed. Cheers and you and yours stay safe!
