This is just a stripped reciever, the only thing that would make it a pistol is if you put a barrel shorter then 16" on it, which you could do, but then you'd just need to run a brace instead of a stock, most ruger 10/22 barrels Re 18½" so you'll likely be good to run whatever stock or brace you want
James, yes you can. For the Ruger 10/22 Platform: Note:
Does NOT include Trigger Group or Extended Magazine Release (EMR).
It is designed for a 10/22 and the charger is a 10/22.
