Randy, I would go with s little bit more powerful scope Sir : budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/712016399/sim+3-9x40+whitetail+classic+blk+riflescope ----------------------- budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/52362/simmons+3-9x50+8+point+riflescope%2ftruplex+reticle%2fhydroshiel
Sounds cool. My old eyes would need more than 4 power to see over 100 yards. For younger eyes it would be great.

Hi,
Considering the built quality of Truglo, I would say that I would not recommend mounting it on anything bigger than 5.56 rifle. I think the recoil of 450 BM can potentially damage or render this particular optic useless. Another consideration to make is the fact that 4X magnification is only good out to 200yards, I would get more magnification if you want to shoot further or hunt with this rifle. I would recommend vortex crossfire ii 3-9x40 as their optics are rated up to 50bmg. I hope this helps!
