The way I read the CA DOJ approved list is that it is legal see the 6th gun down I suggest checking with another local FFL oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search?make=151011

CA does not show this model as on roster or compliant, they note a similar one with a rubber grip it looks like, but this one has a walnut wood grip. CA would have to have the tests done on this one and have it pass for it to be on the list, so the FFL is correct, currently it is not on the CA approved roster.
