I just got this rifle, beautiful! I hoped to put the Marble Tang Peep sight on it but the sight has two mounting screw holes, there is only one, the rear screw in the rifle. Is it OK to drill and tap (short screw) for the front sight mounting screw thru the metal plate? I tried to mount the sight with only the single rear screw, but it wasn't very stable.
