  • This fine firearm comes with a full-length guide rod. Mine did not come with a tool. Not to worry. I'm sure you know by now that you can use other stuff to continue field stripping your firearm. It was my pleasure to assist you.

  • This comes with a 2 piece guide rod that you must use an allen wrench to unscrew and remove before you can disassemble. A bushing wrench is generic and any should fit to remove the bushing. It may be removable with your fingers. Mine is.
    The idea of the 2 piece guide rod is for combat. You can push the muzzle of the gun against an adversary and the action will not unlock like a normal 1911 which can be disabled in such a scenario.
