Kurt, Yes, but a box of +P at the range is not a lot of fun. The revolver is fairly heavy but +P 38 special and 357 mag rounds really snap this 2.2" barrel revolver.
yes it will handle +p ammo all day long and while the recoil is stout its not as bad as shooting it with full power .357 loads

Kurt, it will handle +P loads but you will get more muzzle blast and longer sight recovery times and not as much gain in muzzle velocity with the short barrel. +P starts to have more of an advantage starting around 4 inches. Anything shorter and you have lots of unburnt powder and fireball.
