  • Would this be a great rifle for hunting/amazing accuracy grouping? I will be buying this rifle in the near future because its just such a great deal for a sub $900 .308 bolt action rifle..

  • yes it is a very good hunting rifle and 38 can hunt anything in North America the ruger is also accurate and reliable

  • Sebastian, it will work great. Just not that with a weight of 9.2lbs without and over 10lbs with a scope, it will be rather heavywithout a proper rest.

  • It would be a good hunting rifle if you were going to sit in a stand. It's too heavy to carry much or shoot quickly offhand.
