  • Tin Stain brass is not generally available. I hear it is used for "proof" loads. This is new? Why did it come on market? LC produced excess proof brass?

  • Mark, You are correct about LC using the Tinstain Brass for proof loads. This is so they can visually see the proof rounds. Legends uses this item in their bulk production from excess inventory proof brass at LC. So yes LC must have excess proof brass and uses it on bulk ammo production to get new Tinstain Brass for proof rounds.

  • Mark, agreed Sir. This is very likely an over production from LC would be my guess as well. Over production usually translate to vastly reduced price especially for bulk purchase.
