Bought the gun and love it. But all scopes I tried end up too far from eye sight, rendering the scope useless. Any suggestions?

You are going to want to find a "Long eye relief" scope, or a "scout scope". As the pic rail is set in front of the breech on this Scout model, using scopes with typical eye relief will be unusable. The Vortex Crossfire is a good "Low Cost" offering, and many other major brands such as Leupold and Burris making them as well. Again, make sure they are "long eye relief", 7" +. Of course you can use an optic such as a red dot, but will sacrifice magnification...
