Tien, yes Sir. It uses a Blade Front Sight that's a narrow tenon sight. You can find replacement that provide a better sight picture and little or no gun smithing. The hole for the front sight tenon can be made larger to allow installation of a more visible large tenon sight. Staking the front sight calls for a special tool that any 1911 pistol smith should have. I've done a few and it takes less than 1/2 hour, start to finish. You can probably buy a staking tool for less money than a half hour of gunsmith time. If you are not comfortable with the replacement, a smith can do it for you.
