  • Jack, At least 4 or more better options for pocket carry. Just ask Steve P it in his top 5 not #1. With the right pocket holster to protect safety and trigger it would work. More of a IWB carry, but would go in your pocket. If you want one keep your eyes open. Has been out of stock at BUDs for a long time.

  • I don't think a SA 1911 style gun should be a pocket carry if you carry cocked and locked its to easy disengage the thumb safety

  • It's okay. I carry a P238 which is a clone of this gun, but the little Ruger LCP is much nicer to carry. The Colt will stand lots of shooting and not fall apart near as quickly as the Ruger though.

  • Jack, I don, own this specific pistol but do have a similar sized/weight Sig P938 and it is noticeable until you get used to the weight. This is especially compared to the Polymer 380's available, which I pocket carry much more often.

  • Yes this is really compact and comfortable to carry. It's one of my top 5.
