  • Mossberg's Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) trigger the LBA is adjustable from 2 to 7 pounds with any standard screwdriver. Mossberg usually ships these adjustable triggers set at the minimum pull weight. A competent gunsmith can thread your barrel for you after purchase of this rifle, if that will help you make a decision. The last barrel I had threaded cost $80.

  • From Mossberg Your firearm may be equipped with Mossberg’s revolutionary “Lightning Bolt Action” Trigger System (Patent Pending), an adjustable trigger system that allows you to safely adjust the trigger pull of your firearm from 2 to 7 pounds (approximately). Your firearm is shipped with the trigger pull set at the factory minimum. You can adjust the trigger pull by turning the Trigger Pull Adjusting Screw (See Figures 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4) clockwise (to increase trigger pull) or counterclockwise (to decrease trigger pull).
