These little guns are easy to use and accurate but being inexpensive they tend to fall apart if you shoot them lots. My SIG P238 is more money but has lasted.
I have not shot mine a lot, but, so far, it has been 100%. Reliable and accurate, if a bit snappy. Hogue makes a specific grip sleeve for this gun. Do yourself a favor, and get one.

Brandy - I own two of the LC9s, and have put at least 500 rounds through each of them. I don't recall having a single malfunction of any sort. Ruger builds good solid products, and the LC9 is another one. I would trust my life to one any day of the week. These have been discontinued however, in favor of the newer EC9, which is the same basic pistol with different sights. They are proving to be just as dependable as the LC9s, and are priced even lower. I can recomend the EC9.
