  • I owned the the mosquito which this gun was made using the same blueprint as they bought the rights from Sig from what I was told. Either way it's a very fun gun to shoot and not difficult or noticeable as far as the trigger pull in my opinion and my son (12yr old) didn't have an issue at the range. Hope this helps with a little more of an idea.

  • Hi - with the stated trigger pull weights of 14 lb in double action and 7 in single action, it si rather heavy. A 'smith might well be able to lighten it up some, but probably not much. Since it is a rimfire, it needs heavier weight springs to ensure proper ignition of the rimfire primers.. There are plenty of .22 pistols with much lighter trigger pulls - the Ruger Mark III or Mark IV being examples that come to mind. With that much trigger pull, it might be a chore to maintain accuracy with this pistol.

  • Peyton, it is rather heavy. The specs on the Mosquito list trigger pull at 14lbs and 7lbs - DA and SA.
