  • I do not know much about this, and i guess the answer is simple. Can the buffer/stock on the short barreled (11in and lower) be replaced with an adjustible stock like the standard length (16.5-20 in) or would that not be recomended.

  • if you put on a "stock" you will need to do ATF (form 4) paperwork and pay for a NFA tax stamp this paperwork must be completed and approved BEFORE you put the stock on the pistol. If not it becomes a ILLEGAL SBR (short barrel rifle)

  • Brett, it would not be legal to put a "Stock", adjustable or otherwise, on o firearm with a barrel less than 16 inches. At this point it becomes an SBR "Short Barreled Rifle" and to be legal, you would have to pay a $200 Tax Stamp and register it as an NFA firearm. You could add a "Brace" and it would retain it's classification as a regular "Pistol" and would not require any further action and still be legal.
