BudsGunShop.com - Are .310 diameter projectiles ok?

I am considering the purchase of a Ruger Mini 30. I know the bore diameter on a Mini 30 is .308, but all the commercial ammunition available is .310 or even .311. Is this ammunition safe in a mini 30? What about accuracy with these over-sized projectiles?

it will not be a issue the specs for a 7.62x 39 calls for a .310 +- .002 bullet "Let’s talk about bullet diameter for a moment. Since the AK47 variants have been made all over the world, bore diameters are all over the map as well. Some are as small as .308, and some are well over .312 inch. Since the more or less nominal groove diameter for 7.62×39 is .310 inch, and the SAAMI standard for bullet diameter is .310 minus .002, regular .308 bullets meet the spec"
