It's not necessary to use a lower receiver stamped "Pistol" or one that is marked with the specific caliber of ammunition you plan to use when building an AR pistol. ****Note**** Just do not attach a shoulder stock unless you plan to register as an NFA/SBR.

  • From what I understand the 4473 must say pistol on it when you buy a serialized receiver

  • Not legally with this lower. To build a AR-15 pistol the lower must be registered as a pistol these lowers are sold as Rifles
